TROJANS HAVE A RECORD 6 PLAYERS NAMED 2009 ACADEMIC ALL-STATE
Matt Harrelson, Joey Higgins, Tommy Jehli,
Daniel Kemp, Ryan Lamb and Tyler Mapes
were all named to the 2009 Academic All
State team as voted on by the Texas High
School Baseball Coaches Association.

2009 BI-DISTRICT CHAMPIONS!!!
The Trojans' season comes to an end with a 3-2 loss to Bryan Adams. The game was scoreless until the 5th when Bryan Adams scored 3 runs. The Trojans came back in the 6th with a walk from Michael Howard and a homerun from Daniel Kemp. They made it interesting in the bottom of the 7th with a man on 3rd and lst but could not get the tying run over. Tyler Mapes pitched another awesome game!! IT WAS A GREAT RUN!!! GOOD LUCK TO ALL OUR SENIORS and to 2009-2010 TROJANS!
1st Round of the Playoffs against Sherman HS Bearcats
TROJANS TAKE GAME #1 ON THURSDAY, MAY 14TH BY THE SCORE OF 10-1. TYLER MAPES WAS THE WINNING PITCHER. THE TROJANS HAD 12 HITS WHICH INCLUDED A DOUBLE FROM JORGE MARIN, A TRIPLE FROM TOMMY JEHLI AND A DOUBLE AND A TRIPLE FROM DANIEL KEMP.
2nd Game: Bearcats force a game 3. Trojan lose 4-1 to Sherman HS. Game 3 on Saturday.

Smith has produced 14 professional and 76 College baseball players! Also adding honors of 18 All State, 25 All Metro, 137 All District, 9 Sophomores of the Year, 12 District MVPs and 1 Newcomer of the Year.
